Delma J. Buchan, 82, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011. She was born in Warsaw, Indiana on November 4, 1928 to Delmas and Violet Pillers.
Delma was a medical transcriptionist for many years.
She is preceded in death by her brother, William; her parents; her first husband Robert Brackett; and her second husband, Robert Buchan.
Delma was loved by the many friends she left behind including her truest friend, her dog Reggie.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 1 PM Saturday October 15, 2011 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care with her service starting at 1 PM. Delma will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana.

Delma – I will miss you. I am glad that we were able to have the short time together at home. We have so many wonderful memories of you. You were a one of a kind person. Our children loved you so much. I will miss calling you every night/day just to talk. There are a lot of things that I will miss. I can’t even fathom how happy you are now in the place you have prepared yourself for your whole life. We love you. My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Mrs. Delma. I met her while she was living in the apt with Reggie. She was a wonderful friend to my friend Frank who lived just down the hall from her. She loved introducing me to Reggie and Reggie loved showing off for a new friend. I know she will be missed by so many who loved her. God Bless.
